Last year the Class of 1971 held a virtual 50-year reunion. The in-person reception was postponed due to COVID-19. With campus restrictions lifted, the class celebrated its 50+1 year reunion at the Engineering Student Centre on September 24, 2022.
Prior to the reception, Dean Olson hosted a well-attended BBQ which was followed by a building tour conducted by the EUS. Over 40 classmates made it to the live gathering, the furthest away travelling from Florida. Class of 70 classmates were also invited to join in the festivities. Contributions were collected resulting in $1,300 given to the EUS to donate to their favourite charity.See highlightsof the various events.
